Curriculum Vitae

Barbara Bottalico graduated J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Pavia (I), Faculty of Law, in 2006.
In 2008 she was appointed Teaching Fellow (Law and Life Sciences course) by the University of Pavia - Faculty of Law. From 2009 to 2011 she was a Scholarship Fellow at the ECLT Center: her research activity was focused on the field of Neuroscience and Law. After spending 2 semesters as a Visiting PhD Student in the US, in 2013 she became a PhD in Comparative and European Legal Studies (University of Trento).
From 2009 to 2014 she was Lecturer on contract at the University of Milan, Faculty of Law.
She is Max Weber Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute for the Academic Year 2014/2015.
She currently is a lawyer in Milan and cooperates as a researcher with the ECLT Center in the field of Law and New Technologies.
