Freedom of scientific research.
This section is entirely dedicated to the question of freedom of scientific research, an issue which no longer seemed topical after the end of the Cold War but which has, on the other hand, become increasingly important with regard to biological research. The last few years have witnessed the emergence, especially in Italy, of an unprecedented broad and enduring debate on the freedom of scientific research and the influence exerted by the law on science itself. The issue is addressed in constitutional principles and in the most recent provisions of the Nice Charter and is to be found at the centre of interaction between the law and science
This section gathers together materials which are intended to be not a complete catalogue but rather elements of an “observatory” on the conflicts revolving around the freedom of scientific research.
Any notification of news, cases, documents, studies and other such materials on the part of readers will be fundamental.
We invite you to take part in this initiative sending your contribute to enlsc@unipv.it
